Oh, hey there! You might remember me (or not) as The Creative Acres. I’ll admit, I still have a strong love of that name. But if I’m going to teach folks how to make their social media stand out, The Creative Acres didn’t exactly scream “strategy.” And if you really know me, you know I say “boom”… a lot. So, Boom Social just felt right. It’s bold, real, and a little bit louder (I’m also naturally loud).

Since this is my first post on my new (and only!) blog, consider this my warm welcome. This space isn’t about me, though. It’s about you: learning how to market yourself or your business in a way that matters (and works!). But because you deserve to know that I practice what I preach, here’s the short version of my story.

For over a decade, I’ve lived and breathed authentic marketing, leading campaigns, crafting stories, and helping brands of all sizes connect with real people. From promoting higher education and motorsports to growing healthcare brands and local businesses, I’ve learned one simple truth: people don’t connect with perfect; they connect with real.

That’s what you’ll find here. Real talk. Real strategy. And no BS (well… except Boom Social). I’ll teach you what works. I’ll tell you what doesn’t work. I’ll remind you that you’re more than capable of building a presence that’s loud, proud, and completely your own.

Some days I’ll share marketing tips; other days, you’ll get mom moments, farm stories (love me some farm living), and a little faith. Because storytelling isn’t just a marketing tactic… it’s how we make meaning out of life.
